Korea insists Korean invented Gumdo and it's Kendo's root, however there was no Dojo, no Bogu, no Shinai existed in Korea before colonized by Japan.
The Gumdo attire is exact copy of Kendo rather than using Korean traditional outfit. They speak only theory and refuse historical records that contradict the theory. NOTE The Korean armor at 1:03 is from Danghangpo Battle memorial site. Anothe Korean armor at 1:47 is from Onyang Folklore Museum. It's very difficult to find photos of Korean armors. The pictures of Japanese movies at 3:03 is Yojimbo and Seven Samurai, very very famous Kurosawa movies. The picture of Kumdo poster at 3:13 is Yojimbo VS Ichi, it's Japanese movie, not Korean. The old painting at 3:32 is Kokuro soldier. The Koreans insist there is an old painting of the man holding sword which means Korean invented Kendo.
